Yes. Ketamine is a legal, FDA-approved medication. While its use for mental health and pain is considered “off-label,” it’s widely supported in clinical practice. At KetaMed, treatments are administered by licensed medical professionals in a safe, controlled setting.
Your experience depends on the method you choose (IV, IM, or lozenge), but every treatment is monitored by a provider. IV sessions last 45–120 minutes. IM sessions are shorter. We create a calming, quiet environment designed to help you feel comfortable and cared for throughout.
Some patients feel relief after just one session—especially with symptoms like suicidal ideation. Others see gradual improvement over the full 6-treatment protocol. Every response is different, and we’ll track your progress closely.

Most mental health patients start with a series of six treatments. After that, we’ll reassess and recommend a maintenance plan if needed. Pain treatment protocols are typically longer and more customized.
We do not accept insurance at this time. We are in the process of applying to financing partners like Advanced Care and MyMedicalFunding.com. In the meantime, we keep our pricing as competitive and transparent as possible.
